Rt Hon Stephen McPartland joins us at GITEX as our CREST Ambassador

We are thrilled to announce that the Rt Hon Stephen McPartland has been appointed as a CREST Ambassador.

We are delighted to have Stephen on board, given his shared passion for the cyber security industry and his commitment to championing the sector.

Stephen has been actively involved with CREST and our work for some time now, and we are delighted he’ll be joining our Middle East and Africa Lead, Sebastian Madden, at GITEX in Dubai this month and we are proud to have Stephen represent CREST on stage at such a prestigious event.

Stephen brings a wealth of experience from his 14 years as a Member of the UK Parliament including as a former Security Minister, and member of the Joint Committee on National Security Strategy. Stephen also recently conducted a review for the UK government into the role of the cyber sector as an engine for economic growth earlier this year, with CREST hosting the first roundtable of the review series, with senior-level CREST Members to help inform the review’s outcomes,  so we are delighted to be continuing our partnership and continued shared vision.

His advocacy for cyber resilience and his proactive approach to industry challenges make him a perfect fit as our ambassador.

A key presence at GITEX Global 2024

Stephen will debut as CREST Ambassador at the GITEX Global conference in Dubai, taking place from October 14-18, 2024. This is a renowned event for tech professionals worldwide, and we are proud to have Stephen represent CREST on stage at such a prestigious gathering.
