CREST wins at SC Europe Awards 2024

CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT) takes home the award for ‘Best Professional Training or Certification Programme’ at SC Europe Awards.

CREST’s new global CRT certification was announced as ‘Best Professional Training or Certification Programme’ at the SC Awards Europe ceremony in London on 4 June 2024. Winning this prestigious award is valuable recognition of all the hard work that went into developing the certification, and of CREST’s continued commitment to raising the standards of cyber service providers and professionals.

The SC Europe Awards are the industry’s longest-running and most respected annual awards. Each year they bring together the cyber security community to reflect on the industry’s current state and look ahead to its future. They are a celebration of the excellence, advancement, and of the minds that are shaping the future of technology and cybersecurity within the UK and Europe.

The new CRT was launched in November 2023 and was the first step in CREST’s ongoing program to update its exams and make them more accessible globally. This is part of CREST’s commitment to provide greater availability to anyone looking to enhance and develop their cyber security skills to industry standards. The CRT certification is now available over 70 countries through over 1000 Pearson VUE test centres.

The CRT tests the ability to carry out penetration testing tasks and is one of CREST’s most popular exams.
