CREST shortlisted in SC Europe Awards 2024 

We are very proud to announce that our new global CRT certification has been shortlisted in the SC Europe Awards ‘Best Professional Training or Certification Programme.’ Being named finalist in these key industry awards is recognition of our ongoing contribution to the global technical cyber security industry and commitment to raising the standards of cyber service providers and professionals. 

The SC Europe Awards, judged by a panel of experts from the information security profession, are a celebration of the excellence, advancement, and of the minds that are shaping the future of technology and cybersecurity within the UK and Europe. The awards ceremony takes place at Leonardo Royal Hotel St Pauls on Tuesday 4th June 2024. 

Andy Woolhead, Head of Cyber Skills and Examinations, said of the nomination:  
“I am delighted that CREST has reached the SC Awards finals this year. The growth of CREST around the world reflects the increasing global need for a strong regulated cyber security industry to more effectively combat the evolving threat landscape. CREST qualifications and its accredited members are sought out by governments and regulators all over the world to help develop capacity, capability, and consistency in their markets. Making CREST’s CRT qualification more widely available is an important step towards creating greater standardisation in the largely unregulated cyber security industry.” 

The updated CRT was launched in November 2023 and is available for the first time in over 70 countries through over 1000 Pearson VUE test centres. This provides greater availability to anyone looking to enhance and develop their cyber security skills to industry standards. 

The CRT tests the ability to carry out penetration testing tasks. It is one of CREST’s most popular exams, recognised by employers, buyers of cyber services and regulators across the world. The new CRT offers an even greater depth of knowledge testing and introduces new content and sections that were not previously covered. 

Our internal teams and assessors have put in extensive work to make this happen and request your support as we continue to revolutionise our exam and product portfolio in the coming months.
