CREST Cyber Accelerated Maturity Programme

What is CREST CAMP?

The CREST Cyber Accelerated Maturity Programme (CREST CAMP) is the first international capacity-building initiative to focus on developing cyber service providers and the skilled professionals they rely upon. It provides a vehicle to accelerate cyber capability in countries that have identified the need to improve the maturity of their cyber ecosystem.

Collaboration is at the heart of CREST CAMP, leveraging the experience and expertise of the global cyber community to unite those who want to grow their cyber ecosystem and meet current regulations, with those who want to help create a unified and safer digital world.

CREST CAMP will fund participating organisations as they progress through our new accreditation and membership model called The Accreditation Pathway, and utilise a network of CREST Members, training providers and national authorities to enable organisations to self-assess their capabilities against our standards, identify their maturity state and gain a greater understanding of their domestic, national and international markets.

The benefits of CREST CAMP

As a participating organisation in CREST CAMP, you’ll benefit from:

  • Accelerated, measurable maturity and growth of your cyber services – you’ll rapidly progress through the stages of The Accreditation Pathway, with an opportunity to apply for full CREST membership
  • A range of benefits as you progress through The Accreditation Pathway, including a listing on our website, access to research and guides, and exclusive discounts
  • Access to a regional training provider to help strengthen your cyber workforce
  • If you’re selected as one of a subset of 30 – 40 organisations, you’ll receive support from a CREST CAMP Mentor to help you develop your cyber capabilities.

How is the programme funded?

CREST CAMP is funded through contributions from government development budgets and philanthropic grants.

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) awarded a grant to CREST to trial CREST CAMP in Armenia, Bahrain, Georgia, Ghana, Lithuania and Thailand.

The grant has been made from the FCDO’s International Security Fund (ISF), Global Cyber Programme. This portfolio is focused on building cyber capacity overseas, including both country specific and global funds. The CREST CAMP grant is awarded from the global fund, enabling us to have a far-reaching impact where the opportunity and need are greatest.

If you are a government or philanthropist and would like to fund CREST CAMP, or a National Authority interested in getting access to CREST CAMP funding, please contact [email protected]
