As part of the UK Government’s investment in cyber security, CREST along with the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) and Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), formed a consortium to act as a certification body for the Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) assured service.
The CCP framework allows individuals to be certified and their areas of specialism recognised.
The framework was originally run by the Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) but responsibility for CCP has now transferred to the UK Cyber Security Council (UKCSC) which is self-regulatory body for the UK’s cyber security profession.
Further information on the CCP framework and the transfer arrangements is available from the UKCSC at Certified Cyber Professional Update (ukcybersecuritycouncil.org.uk)
