De Montfort University (DMU) is a publicly funded UK University that provides education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and conducts world-leading research. The newly formed Cyber Technology Institute (CTI) brings together the experience and expertise of three multi-disciplinary established research centres at DMU: the Cyber Security Centre (CSC); the Software Technology Research Laboratory (STRL) and the Context Intelligence and Interaction Research Group (CIIRG); as well as cyber expertise from across the University in areas such as psychology and linguistics.
The CTI’s aim is to undertake research that provides the knowledge and technologies to develop a smart, safe, and secure cyber-space. The vision of the CTI is to be a collaboration hub that brings together experts from multiple disciplines and sectors to develop and disseminate practical solutions to key challenges of emerging technologies and problem areas.
