3GRC now CREST accredited penetration testing provider & Cyber Essentials certifying body

Risk management experts 3GRC have passed the demanding assessment required to become a member of CREST, the global not-for-profit accreditation and certification body that represents the technical information security industry.  3GRC is now a CREST accredited penetration testing service provider and Cyber Essentials Certifying Body.

One of 3GRC’s Co-Founders, Paul Cronin, expressed how proud the company is to be accredited “3GRC are dedicated to helping our customers reduce the threat of attacks against their organisations and this demonstrates that our information security methodologies are able to provide a robust assessment of information security posture. Our knowledgeable consultants have many years of experience and these certifications give our customers additional assurance and peace of mind about our services.”

As a CREST member company, 3GRC offers a demonstrable level of assurance when providing its penetration testing services and as a Cyber Essentials certifying body.  All CREST members sign up to a strict and enforceable code of conduct and buyers can be confident that work will be carried out by competent experts with up to date skills and knowledge.  CREST membership also assures that organisations have suitable policies, processes and procedures in place.

“Awarding 3GRC membership means that we are formally recognising that the company delivers the highest professional security services standards to its customers,” explains Ian Glover, President of CREST.  “It also confirms its commitment to continually developing its knowledge and services in line with the evolving cybersecurity landscape”.
