CREST Singapore Chapter Industry Consultation Event

CREST Singapore Chapter held its Industry Consultation Event on 18 July 2017. Rowland Johnson (Director, CREST International) and Ian Glover (President, CREST International) were in Singapore to provide updates on CREST’s International plans, Incident Response Certifications and SOC accreditation followed by a Q&A session.

AISP and CREST Singapore Chapter participated in the Black Hat Asia 2017 as a Supporting Association.
INTERPOL World is an event providing a strategic platform for the public and private sectors to discuss and showcase solutions to evolving global security challenges. To be held from 4-7 July 2017 at Suntec Singapore, this biennial exhibition and congress event aims to connect law enforcement, government bodies, academia, international security professionals and buyers with security solution providers and manufacturers. AISP and CREST Singapore Chapter participated in the Black Hat Asia 2017 as the Supporting Association.
Black Hat Asia 2017 took place at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore March 28-31, 2017. InfoSec professionals from around the world gathered to learn from the brightest minds in the industry. Black Hat Asia opens with hands-on Training for security practitioners March 28-29 followed by the main conference March 30—31 featuring applicable and relevant security Briefings presented by top researchers, solutions and products in the Business Hall, and open-source tool demonstrations at Arsenal. AISP and CREST Singapore Chapter participated in the Asia ICS Cyber Security Conference 2017 as the Supporting Association.
The inaugural Asia ICS Cyber Security Conference took place at Suntec Singapore. Addressing cyber security issues related to industrial control systems (ICS) / SCADA systems, this 2 days’ conference will gather leading regulatory and industry professionals to raise awareness, share ideas and practical solutions to tackle critical operational issues facing the sector.
CREST Singapore Chapter Sharing Session

Following up from our CREST Examination Sharing Session on 16 December 2016, we organized another sharing session on 24 February 2017. The event took place at AISP office and was delivered by CREST Assessor, Benjamin Harris.
Besides sharing about CREST examinations, the session included topics on CSA’s CII directive and the introduction to CREST courses by our corporate partner, BridgingMinds.
